Father’s Day 2026 a great success, thanks to all that came out and sorry I don’t have better photos, with close to 100 for breakfast and 140 for lunch we were kept busy.

The meat was delicious and the Silverbeets played well.

Always great to see the Club come together for these events.

Great to see tonight’s 7NEWS Tasmania coverage highlighting the opportunities being created by the reopening of the River Derwent.

Today’s voyage aboard the historic Egeria beneath the new Bridgewater Bridge was more than just a symbolic journey - it demonstrated how the removal of the old bridge has restored unrestricted access to the upper Derwent for larger vessels for the first time in decades.

With the river once again open, exciting opportunities are emerging for river tourism, heritage vessels, recreational boating and events throughout the Derwent Valley.

This is just the beginning.
