A historic day for the MYCT! 🚢
Yesterday the ML Egeria became the first official boat to transit the new Bridgewater Bridge Navigation Span — with the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Kerry Vincent, onboard to mark the occasion.

Egeria was proudly accompanied through by several other MYCT boats, making it a fitting club turnout for such a milestone.
With the new span now open, there's no doubt we'll see river traffic to and from New Norfolk grow dramatically — a whole new chapter of cruising on the upper Derwent.
Not bad for a launch that's called these waters home since 1941!
Watch this space… Egeria has plans. 👀

MYCT Club Awards Night 2026 🏆
What a night! Last Saturday we packed out the clubhouse to celebrate the people who make our club what it is — and there was plenty to celebrate.
