We’ve got double the reason to come to FAB Friday this week!
Not only are we having a special Halloween event where prizes will be awarded for best dressed and the winners of our colouring competition will be announced, but we’re raising funds for the Children’s Medical Research Institute through Helen Arnold and her family.
Helen and her family, including her mother Elke, an RSL regular, have faced the heartbreaking challenge of childhood cancer and understand how much communities like ours help them through it. Throughout this difficult journey, Helen has committed to riding 50 kilometres for her son Matthew, during the month of October.
Helen’s mantra is clear - “kids should be living life, not fighting for it”
So, let’s unite and rally the troupes to make this an unforgettable event for Helen, her family, and all those affected by childhood cancer.
The evening will be packed with exciting Halloween activities, delicious treats, and a few spooky surprises that promise to entertain guests of all ages. 👻
In addition to the Halloween activities we will be having our regular meat raffles, joker poker and members draw! 🎃
This is a great opportunity to dress up in your best costumes, have a blast and make a meaningful impact in your community!
All profits from the sale of raffle tickets will go directly the Children’s Medical Research Institute via Helen’s Great Cycle Challenge Australia link.
If you are unable to make it but would like to donate, drop some money in and we will add it to the tally on Friday night or head to
