Sol Michael (Sol Michael) crafts emotive, genre-spanning sets, drawing from influences like Pink Floyd, Leon Vynehall & Assembler Code. He’s shared stages with dance music’s finest since the age of 13, and now curates Eccentric Currents (Eccentric Currents), a newly created Eora/Sydney event series that focuses on electro & acid adjacent sounds.

Techno wizard Francis Xavier (), co-founder of cult record label / party collective Motorik! Records (), will be working his magic next weekend at CROSS/FADE on Saturday 15th August.

The Sydney-based DJ/producer/musician/synth hoarder has spent decades delving into the dark recesses of clubs and warehouses, establishing himself as one of the scene’s most respected techno producers and electronic music veterans.

Unknown Associates have gained a formidable reputation as Wollongong’s favourite fathers of rave facilitation after 13 years at the helm of the Unknown Records (Unknown Records) mothership and over a decade pioneering the sought-after south of Sydney party scene.

Join us at The Happy Brewery from 2pm for locally brewed beers, an outdoor food truck and afternoon selections from Kymatic residents.

As the sun fades our guests take the helm, guiding us through the hazy warehouse darkness. No peak-time pressure. No right time to arrive. Just good music, good people and enough time for both to find each other.

CROSS/FADE will be entry by donation. Every dollar goes back into artists, production and continuing to grow electronic music culture in the Blue Mountains.
If money’s tight, come anyway. We’ll sort you out.

We’re also incredibly excited to be partnering with The Happy Brewery. Like Kymatic, they’re building something independent from the ground up, with community at the centre. It felt like the perfect fit.
We’ll see you on the dancefloor.

Dread Maiden is a Newcastle-based DJ and founder of Newy Bass Crew, moving through deep jungle and drum & bass with psychedelic and dub influence alongside future garage and experimental bass. Having supported Dillinja, KOAN Sound and Teddy Killerz, and played festivals including Subsonic, Earth Frequency and Dragon Dreaming, her evolving selections explore the deeper edges of underground bass while championing stronger female representation.

They will be joined by two more feature artists, Vivaek & Dread Maiden. Supporting the night are Kymatic residents Brez, Chaisma, KJ Kinetic & Voz, guiding the room through wide-ranging selections and long-form flow, building space for movement, curiosity and connection.

Focused on unique sonic architecture and future-facing production, their sound represents the next wave of local bass energy emerging from the mountains.

They will be joined by two more feature artists, Vivaek & Dread Maiden. Supporting the night are Kymatic residents Brez, Chaisma, KJ Kinetic & Voz, guiding the room through wide-ranging selections and long-form flow, building space for movement, curiosity and connection.

Vivaek is a Sydney-based DJ and producer specialising in progressive psytrance, blending emotive melodies with driving basslines to shape immersive dancefloor journeys. Co-running The Caldera, he curates underground radio and events while drawing on Indian heritage and melancholic textures in his productions. Vivaek has supported Astrix, Mandragora, Liquid Soul and Ace Ventura, and performed across major Australian and New Zealand festivals, delivering refined, high-energy sets.

He will be joined by two more feature artists, Dread Maiden & Uprising, keep an eye out for their dedicated posts soon!
