A huge bonus for our Poker players.
Launceston APL will have an end of season best average trophy.
You need to play 20 games plus for the season to qualify.
APL's winning player will have their name on the Mathew Simpson Season Best Average Award.
Something new for players at The Workers and creates another exciting part for our players.

Tonights big winner at our great workers club game is Stuart Comer. After arriving a tad late to start the night, Stuart quickly caught up and overtook most in chips. Stuart came to final table with an above average stack and won a few handy double ups (lost his fair share too).
Heads up tonight was none other than or Friday night regular Andrew Dean who not only took down 2nd place,but also our last person standing prizepool. well played Andrew.
Finishing 3rd tonight was our talented player Lauren Cooper. Lauren played well the whole night but ran into a bit of trouble on the final table as no mercy was shown by the dealer. Lauren walked away with a bit of cash and a few handy leaderboard points.
Completing our final table tonight was Adrian, Creepy, Peta, Lance, Zac and Greg, well played to all.
No jackpots went off tonight and quads or better hits $90 next week!

If you missed last Wednesday's Tasmanian Poetry Festival's, Australian Poetry Slam's Tasmanian Heats, don't be disappointed. The Slam Final will be held on Wednesday, August 3 here at The Workers from 7pm-10pm. Entry is $5.
