From all of us here at Monte Motorsports, we are saddened to hear the passing of a close friend Mark House, also known as “Mozzie”.

We would like to send our condolences to Marks family and friends through this heartbreaking loss 💜

I have so many thoughts from watching Adelaide!

1. Gutted for Grant Anderson to not be rewarded for such a solid showing both nights.
2. Just as happy for Michael Stewart and the BOHUD team. Almost every top combo in the country was there and they came out on top.
3. I don’t care who you are, the whole event was better than you expected.
4. I’m bummed that Sprint Car Hub couldn’t be there to do our thing. The build, event info, track insights, collabs with drivers in other categories… we had a lot planned!
5. Despite my previous point, I’m so happy for sprint car racing. After all, we started Sprint Car Hub to showcase Sprint Car racing.
6. This was a huge outlay for the SAMB. I genuinely hope it made financial sense for them to do it again. Either way, the big winner was speedway and we appreciate that.
7. I wonder if we will soon see more corporate partners dip their toes into the sport.
8. I wish I knew where my closest NAPA store was so I could support them. Kudos to them for supporting our sport like they do.
9. It’s embarrassing to think we still don’t have a national series.
10. I loved listening to Matt Naulty and Gavin White call the racing.
11. Obviously a lot of you liked the concept. I hope a lot of new fans enjoyed the experience.
12. This is SPRINT CAR Hub but I couldn’t help but think how ideal this would be for Midgets.
13. Back to back nights, same cars, same track, same track crew - 2 different features. Goes to show how tough track prep is.
14. You can throw in concerts to make an event like the Adelaide 500 better, but I’m sure they loved having added another quality MOTORSPORT act to their show.
15. I pi**ed off the organisers by questioning the fence. I still wouldn’t oppose it being taller.
16. Wild that this event is almost completely separate from the booming Perth scene.
17. A show with (almost) JUST Sprint Cars?! What a concept.
18. Great to see 3 South Australian cars on the podium last night.
19. When have we ever been injected into an event with thousands of ‘bottom of funnel’ fans?
20. This was proof that 40 good cars is enough.
21. Was there enough interest to see a permanent Adelaide track again?

2025 SSA NATIONAL STREET STOCK TITLE DATE AMENDMENT

Official Release Sunday 16th June 2024.

Speedway Sedans Australia wishes to advise of a slight date change for the 2025 SSA National Street Stock Title to be held at the Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway in Tasmania in early March 2025.

The event has been brought forward a day with the event to begin on Thursday 6th March 2025 with Scrutineering & Official Practice.

Competition will now take place on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th March 2025.

Speedway Sedans Australia looks forward to welcoming Street Stock competitors from around the country to Tasmania as the event returns to the Apple Isle for the first time since 2014.

Scrutineering & Official Practice: Thursday 6th March 2025
Heats: Friday 7th March 2025
Heats & Finals: Saturday 8th March 2025
Rainout Date: Sunday 9th March 2025
