Club Kotara Welcome to Club Kotara, located at Kotara Park only 500m from Kotara Railway Station and 1km from Westfield Kotara Shopping Centre.

We offer lawn bowls, bar facilities, meals, TAB, Keno, function centre, bingo, hoy, trivia and raffles. Welcome to Club Kotara, located in the centre of Kotara, in a tranquil parkland setting, adjacent to Kotara Railway Station. Our club has evolved from being exclusively a Bowling Club to a central hub of the local community. We have a family friendly bistro and separate function room which cater

for any function, large or small. Regular musical entertainment nights, include karaoke, kids disco, hoy, trivia, bingo and raffles create a great atmosphere for locals and visitors. Our bowling greens have earned the praise of bowlers from far and wide and bare foot bowlers are encouraged to incorporate our BBQ facilities, free of charge, into their fun filled days. No matter what the occasion, our friendly staff are here to please.

WE’VE BEEN BUSY MAKING SOMETHING BIG.!

Newcastle, meet your newest local legend. We’ve officially given our 11-metre tower a massive glow-up, and it’s now home to the biggest beer can in town!

Standing at double the size of the famous Cobar Big Beer Can, we’re putting Kotara on the map for "Big Things" in Australia. Swipe for some behind-the-scenes of how we turned concrete into a 92,000-litre masterpiece.

Join us at Club Kotara this ANZAC Day for a morning of reflection and an afternoon of community.

We are starting the day early with bacon and egg rolls from 8:30 AM. Please join us in the carpark at 9:15 AM to gather for the March at 9:30 AM, followed by our ANZAC Day Service at 10:00 AM.

Stick around after the service for Two-up, a community sausage sizzle until 1:00 PM, and full bistro service starting from 10:30 AM. We will also have plenty of entertainment for the children, including a jumping castle and face painting.

Bring the whole family down to spend the day with the local community.
