It came down to the last few frames...

KCR vs Pocket Rockets, Thursday night at Knott's

Close all night, nobody giving anything away easy

Both teams had their moments, and a couple of shots you'll want to see twice

But it finished the way it should, with a handshake and a good laugh

Full highlights coming soon, so keep an eye on the page 🎱

Fastest move of the whole weekend, and it wasn't a pool shot...

One of our regulars had no idea the live stream camera was on him

Just hanging around the pool room, minding his own business

Then one of the staff swings the camera his way

You can see the exact moment he clocks it

Gone πŸ˜‚

But he couldn't keep a straight face for long

Good sport, Bobby 🎱

Four players. One table. Here's a taste of Friday night's Showdown...

W***y, Trai, Ruel and Chris, all going at it

Race to 11, shot clock ticking, no easy frames

This is just the teaser

Full highlights are coming later this week, so keep an eye on this page

To everyone who played over the weekend, we hope you enjoyed the comp

And to those who stayed with us at the resort, thanks for making a weekend of it

See you at the next one 🎱

He's 15, and he pulled off a trick shot most adults wouldn't even try...

3 yellows before the white drops, then 5, then 6

Adam Grace Cue Sports took this one on, and it's not as easy as it looks

Every ball has to drop before the white follows them in

Get one wrong and you're racking it all up again

Watching this back, you'd think we nailed it in a few goes

We didn't

It took long enough that we nearly called it a night more than once πŸ˜‚

But he stuck with it, and look at the result

How many attempts do you reckon it took πŸ‘‡πŸŽ±

57 players saw the comp. Here's the crew most of them never saw...

Pulling off a $1500 pool comp takes a lot more than tables and a trophy

So, with thanks

Katherine 8 Ball Association, for lending us the tables

Troy George, Association President, who was in early prepping every table

Ross Scott, NT Tournament Director, for setting up the KO finals

Grant Hanson, on Poolstat and the live stream all day long

John Hilton, who ran the Calcutta and helped raise $2,000

Razia, for handling all the finances

Frank, for the IT setup

And the Knott's team, plus our tech and socials crew, for the food, drinks, streams and socials

And of course, all 57 players who entered, 8 tables, two live streams, and a day none of us will forget

We hope we haven't missed anybody

Just know, without you guys it wouldn't have been possible πŸ™πŸŽ±

Pool room's open 7 days, same as always

Main table's for registered players

Just after a casual hit? feel free to use the table out near the restaurant

Not a BYO venue, drinks are at the bar

And the restaurant's open from 5pm if you're after a feed

Hours can shift, so give reception a ring before you head down

πŸ“ž (08) 8972 2511

See you on the felt 🎱

If he misses this, it's over...

One shot between staying in the finals and going home

Race to 6, every frame mattering

And it's well past midnight by now

12:30am, and the crowd's still there watching every ball

He gets down on it

Takes his time

And you can hear the room the second it drops, this win made it a tie 4-4 so far

Great match, and a big thanks to everyone who stuck around till the very end, that's Katherine pool for you 🎱
