🎉 STREET PARTY IS BACK! 🎉

For 10 years, the Kalgoorlie Desert Race Street Party has brought competitors, crews, sponsors and the community together to kick off one of Australia’s toughest off-road events.

A huge thank you to Black Diamond Drilling Services Goldfields for once again stepping up as a Platinum Sponsor of KDR and supporting the event for their 10th consecutive year.

Their continued commitment has helped the Kalgoorlie Desert Race grow into the event it is today, and we’re proud to have them alongside us as we celebrate the 10-Year Anniversary of KDR.

Day 1 of the 2026 Lost Legends Enduro is officially in the books and Kanowna delivered exactly what everyone expected… dust, chaos, mechanical carnage and competitors somehow smiling through all of it like sleep deprivation is a personality trait.

Current leaders heading into Day 2 early this morning:

• Kyle Reid leading SXS Pro
• Jeremy Lia out front in SportsLite
• Ash Sudholz and Blake Smith keeping the pressure on
• Steven Binder and Haydn Maher still deep in the fight

🏍 Senior Bikes
• Taj Moore leading Senior Expert
• Oskar Thomas and Darcy O’Meagher right behind him
• Rhys Stevens, Liam Wright and Taj Read all staying within striking distance

🏍 Junior Bikes
• Aiden Anderson-Nappy, Chase Thatcher and Wade O’Meagher charging in Junior 85–150
• Marcus Street and Leo Morgan leading the way in Junior Lites

Massive effort from every rider, driver, pit crew and volunteer out there. Day 2 starts early this morning and it’s still wide open across the board. 🔥

The KDR track is firing up this weekend 👌🔥

Lost Legends Enduro kicks off tomorrow and runs through to Sunday out at the KDR track with Western Desert Racers and Goldfields Motorcycle Club

Bikes, cars, juniors, camping, night racing and a proper weekend in the dirt with good people.

A couple things to note before heading out:
• Camping is for competitors only
• Coffee and food available tomorrow ☕🍔
• BYO alcohol only 🍻

And to all the mums getting dragged along for Mother’s Day weekend… at least you can relax by the fire while everyone else burns fuel and questionable amounts of money on tyres and fuel. The circle of motorsport life continues. 😂
