With KDR26 also serving as the final round of both the Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship and the Western Australian Off Road Racing Championship, competitors from across the country will once again make the journey to Kalgoorlie for one of Australia’s premier off-road events.

Fresh off the back of the 50th Anniversary Tatts Finke Desert Race, competitors from across WA and around Australia are already looking ahead to the second half of the 2026 off-road racing season.

With The 2026 Penrite Oil Kalgoorlie Desert Race serving as the final round of both the Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship and the Western Australian Off Road Racing Championship, Test & Tune #1 is the perfect opportunity to get valuable seat time, dial in your setup, and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Whether you’re chasing championship points, testing new upgrades, or simply getting back into race mode after Finke, this is your chance to hit the dirt.

⚠️ Please note: Test & Tune is available to current members of Western Desert Racers and Goldfields Motorcycle Club only.

This will be the first of two official Test & Tune days for KDR26, with a second session scheduled for 6 September for those unable to attend.

For 10 years, the Kalgoorlie Desert Race Street Party has brought competitors, crews, sponsors and the community together to kick off one of Australia’s toughest off-road events.
