As some are now aware, Grand Central Bar is now closed. We thank the community for their support, and to all the staff, entertainers and individuals who have supported us over the past five years. We truly appreciate every one of you.
It has been an honour to provide a service to the community and employment to so many. As an owner/operator of venues over many years, we have seen so many changes to the hospitality industry and culture. Unfortunately,again there are new restrictions from Racing, Gaming and Liquor and the City of Joondalup, regarding licence and noise restrictions from 10pm. This, along with operating costs, means we have no interest in operating in a retirement village and it does not make the future for the venue viable. Simply put, the hospitality business is no longer favourable for myself and my family. It is with great sadness to say that Grand Central Bar is no more. I wish all venues in this challenging time the very best and sincerely the best of luck in the future.
