📣 A Proud Moment for the Jingellic Hub

We are honoured to have the Jingellic Hub’s recent Cow Nutrition Workshop recognised in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly through a Community Recognition Statement delivered by Member for Albury, Justin Clancy MP.

The workshop brought together 33 local producers for a valuable day of learning, discussion and community connection. It was fantastic to see producers, industry professionals and support services working together to strengthen agriculture across the Upper Murray.

Recognition like this belongs to everyone involved. Thank you to Murray Local Land Services, Eliza Smith and the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program - RAMHP, our volunteers, organisers, presenters and attendees who helped make the day such a success.

Importantly, events like these are only possible because of the support of our sponsors. Beyond helping deliver practical and educational opportunities for local producers, these workshops provide valuable exposure for businesses that invest back into our community. By supporting local events, our sponsors are helping strengthen regional agriculture while connecting directly with the people they serve.

A sincere thank you to AusFarm Nutrition Products and the Walwa and Tumbarumba Veterinary Practices for supporting this event.

This recognition is a reminder of what can be achieved when community, industry and local businesses come together.

A fantastic Men’s High Tea was held yesterday at the Jingellic Hub - Showgrounds, with 45 of the Upper Murray’s finest men coming together for a day centred on honest conversations about mental health, a hearty lunch, and entertainment from the always‑popular Owen Blundell. It was fantastic to see the men enjoy each others company and have such a great day together- socialising off the paddocks!

The event was proudly supported by the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network through its Community Wellbeing and Su***de Prevention Grants Program. Guest speaker Eliza Smith, from the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program - RAMHP, delivered an excellent presentation and later led the group in open, genuine discussions about the challenges many men face.

The Jingellic Hub ladies once again showcased their trademark hospitality, presenting the venue beautifully, waiting on attendees, and running the auctions and games throughout the afternoon. Their efforts were greatly appreciated.

The day also included a fundraiser for Country Hope, with participants contributing a total of $625.

A strong community turnout, meaningful conversations, and generous support made it a memorable and impactful event for the Upper Murray.

Things are starting to come together at the Hub ahead of tomorrow’s Men’s High Tea and it’s looking fantastic.

There’s been plenty happening behind the scenes getting the space ready and we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone tomorrow for an afternoon focused on connection, good conversations, and supporting rural men (and some laughs).

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped with preparations so far. Events like this only happen because people pitch in and support each other.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at the Hub.

COMMUNITY IS BUILT BY PEOPLE WHO SHOW UP 🍁🍂

In small rural communities, it’s the people behind the scenes who make the difference.

The volunteers who give their time.
The businesses who back local initiatives.
The families who support events.
The people who simply care enough to get involved.

That’s what community looks like in places like Jingellic.

The Jingellic Hub exists because people continue to believe in creating spaces where connection, conversation, and community can grow. Every event attended, every partnership formed, and every bit of support helps keep that momentum going.

As we continue growing into 2026, we want to thank everyone who has already supported the Hub and welcomed new ideas, projects, and opportunities into our community.

Rural communities are strongest when people work together, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
