Hola,
Two of our favourite humans, Frank and Ellie, have officially opened a tattoo studio in town. Wild Horse Tattoo is now open between the gym and ESS and the shopfront looks seriously good.
Honestly, it feels like a fairly natural progression for Jindabyne. People move here for one winter… Then suddenly they’re “seasonnaires”, then they stay one summer and a few years later they own six beanies, have very strong opinions about snow forecasts and resort management, and eventually claim permanent residency with a snowflake tattoo on their butt… or somewhere else on their body.
Apparently I’m now what’s known as “an older person”, although I absolutely do not identify that way. It's unlikely that this author will be getting any ink done anytime soon, despite having a very generous canvas. I draw the line at face painting but it seems our team have been very excited by Frank's ink wizardry. These days, tattoos are completely normal and honestly, some of the artistry is incredible. Did you see Frank’s photo of the sambar buck tattoo? Amazing! CHECK OUT THEIR INSTAGRAM! https://www.instagram.com/wild_horse_tattoo/
We’re genuinely thrilled for Frank and Ellie. They’ve been wonderful supporters of Cocina and there’s something very cool about watching good people back themselves and build something creative in a small town. We love seeing passionate people bring new energy into town, and we’re cheering them on.
Speaking of new energy - you need to check out our new dessert!👇 Come on in and share one and you can show us your new tattoos. It's a pretty quiet time between now and winter so we would dearly love your support. OPEN TONIGHT

PS. NEW DESSERT ALERT 👇 Flan de Queso! Baked cream cheese flan, mezcal orange caramel & salted peanut crumb.
Honestly the smoky Mezcal caramel is crazy delicious!
