Our honeys are not heat treated and only filtered once to ensure it retains all the goodness of real honey.

Our bee farm is at south maclean close to Jimboomba. Our bees produce honey from the surrounding bushland on the farm. we are a real full time bee farm dedicated to keeping bees naturally, without any use of any chemicals. We farm our bees gently working with them to help them grow their colonies and produce wonderful honeys for themselves and for us.

You can buy honey from us for as little as $5.00 for 500gram by purchasing 2 of our 500gram squeeze bottles for just $10 or buy just one for $6.00. We make these available by sourcing packaging to ensure we can offer affordable honey for families and anyone on a tight budget. We also have 1 kilogram tubs of honey for just $10.

With the rising price in living costs our business wants to provide the best quality honey at a price families and everyone can still afford. No more over priced honey, often imported and not all real honey from the supermarkets. Instead Real honey at a great price direct from a real bee farm. It tastes great too, it really is miles ahead in quality.

Thanks for supporting a real local full time beekeeper. It’s been a rough few years so support by locals is critical to the ongoing success of our bee farm. It’s not true what you hear, even full time commercial beekeepers love their bees. They work with them everyday tirelessly ensuring they are healthy.

FREE HONEY TASTE TESTING AND TRY HONEYCOMB STRIAGHT FROM THE BEEHIVE.

We will have a market stall at the Jimboomba markets on Saturday 20 August and at Springfield on Sunday the 21 August. our stall will be run by the families 3 sisters; Shannon (our number one sales lady and organiser extraordinaire lol), Belinda (Our all round best beekeeper’s assistant) and Jo (the head beekeeper).

We would love to see everyone there. On offer will be fresh bluegum honey this time, one of our top sellers.

We will have live bees there again for everyone to see the bees working in a real beehive.

We will have taste testing of all our honey flavoured and creamed as well as the chance to eat honeycomb straight from the beehive frame. We love seeing our customers experience this rare opportunity, especially the little kids. You don’t have to buy our honey to try it. As the beekeeper I love people interacting with the bees at the markets and trying real raw honey and honeycomb. That’s a great reward for us all manning the stall, teaching and sharing how wonderful bees are with our community.

We will also have delicious creamed honey available to try…flavoured (lemon and cinnamon) and original flavoured.

So if you visit the Jimboomba markets or Springfield markets in August please feel free to come by and say hi. We will all be doing our best to share some Information about bees and and the beautiful honeys they make.

Thank you all so much for your support at Jimboomba markets today. 🙌 we sold out of stock and met some beautiful people. We will be back next month with some more bluegum honey but also a little spotted gum honey too as the feature. Think caramel and nut flavours, delicious 🐝. To all those lovers of honey and creamy soft set honeys, we will be at the Jimboomba markets this weekend with some amazing honey made right here in Jimboomba along with some beautiful honeycomb. For those who love creamed honey we will have our original flavour along with cinnamon and all new lemon creamed honey. We use the best cinnamon in our honey and found a supplier of queensland grown whole lemons for our new creamed honey. Hope to see you all there.

I would love to thank all the wonderful people I met at Jimboomba today who visited our honey stall to buy some of my products or just taste my honey and give me feedback. Both myself and my bees are grateful to you for supporting a local business. The honey you purchased today was made right here in Jimboomba and taken from the hives in February. I will be at the Jimboomba markets this mont, or rather my lovely sister will and she will be selling more honey then. In the meantime I will be working on my winter recipe, lemon honey. If anyone would like to order honey from me you can do so here by private message to collect or to pick up at the markets when I am there next time. 🐝🐝🐝🙏

This is a beehive I build a few years ago and donated to business in Beaudesert. The business offers counselling services to adults and children who have been traumatised. The queen I supplied with the hive is from one of my most gentle lines.

The kids love looking through the viewing window to watch the bees at work.

The fairy and beach themes at the front of the hive means boys and girls can relate and if they choose they can take away a fairy or a sea shell to have a little bit of this experience with them always.

Adults love the hive too.

The hive is a top bar hive designed to take 30 Longstrath deep frames. The inside of the hood is heavily insulated and ventilated. It sits on a full screened bottom board with small hive beetle traps.

I maintain the hive for the community to enjoy and hopefully learn about bees too.

When Honey that is harvested is donated to the staff who work hard to care for the people who visit for counselling.

I am very busy this season keeping up with a big flow of nectar that has come on suddenly after a few years of drought. As time goes on I hope to add information to this page that I think will help all new beekeepers with basic knowedle needed to keep a healthy hive of bees.
