Today marks the beginning of National Volunteer Week and we would like to thank the incredible people who make our club possible.

Each season, our volunteers give their time to patrol the beach, respond to emergencies, educate children in aquatic safety, train future lifesavers, coach athletes and organise fundraising events.

To every volunteer at our club - thank you. Your dedication and commitment are the heart of our club and the reason our beach stays safe.

Volunteering makes a real difference, builds lifelong skills and connects you to something much bigger than yourself. So what’s stopping you getting involved? ❤️💛

Respect the Water.

Think you’re invincible?
The ocean doesn’t care.

Every year, people drown because they underestimate the conditions and overestimate their swimming ability. Confidence is not the same as capability.

Challenge yourself - not the ocean.

This long weekend:

- Swim between the red and yellow flags at patrolled beaches
- Know before you go – check conditions, forecasts and beach signage
- Never swim alone
- Avoid the water after consuming alcohol or drugs
- Actively supervise children at all times

The ocean is powerful, unpredictable and unforgiving.

Respect it - and come home safely.
