Thank you to the fabulous Graeme McColgan AKA The Ukulele Scotsman for bringing so much joy with his music, the fantastic workshop, and fun by teaching us to dance around the hall. It's called a Celidh.

In case you don't know and have not checked out the workshops on the website, Graeme has kindly given you all his workshops for free.

The festival was magnificent, and the excitement of the fabulous prizes from our generous sponsors could not be better.

1st prize winner John Youngman
โ€“ Barron River Tenor Ukulele, donated by Allen McFarlen from
Barron River Ukuleles. John already owns a Barron River Ukulele and in a very generous gesture donated his prize Barron River Ukulele to Linda Simister, a Mt Tambourine-based lady who spends many hours helping disabled kids improve their lives through music. Her new ukulele will be a wonderful asset.

2nd Prize.winner Julie Wilcox โ€“ a custom-made Tenor ukulele to be hand crafted from beautiful Australian timbers, and donated by luthier Graham Long of Gladstone Guitars and Ukuleles.

3rd Prize winner Kevin Rogers โ€“ a gorgeous Tanglewood Tenor ukulele, complete with pickup, donated by Steve Gray of Infinite Music, Nambour

4th Prize winner Brenda Anderson โ€“ a Cajon, kindly donated by drumming circle maestro John Pasqua.
