What an amazing night with music, food and friends. Thanks very much to everyone who came along and contributed to an unreal atmosphere.
It’s was a real privilege to have the legend Judge Jules at The Iluka.
Before the sold out show our Chef Stephen Clarke and team cooked a 7 course dinner for him in our new Italian restaurant where JJ informed us that his uncle is the famous chef Rick Stein. He was blown away by the food Clarke cooked for him, joking that his uncle would be jealous.
He dropped a couple of Champagnes over dinner, had a chat with me about our days gone past in radio, Spain and our common DJ friends, called his wife for a quick chat, had a debate with chef and I as to whether Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal were best and took time out to take photos with fans.
Apart from being DJ royalty, Judge Jules is an absolute gentleman and it was a pleasure to host him and the amazing people that showed up.
Finally…. without the amazing staff we have, the night would not have been so special. Everyone knows that we have exceptional, kind, loyal and lovable staff that truly care about our customers, community and the business.
