Rektango This is Rektango. Or, rather, this is a page for what is now known as The Rektango Courtyard. It's a Hobart institution.

Hobart's funkiest and cruisiest start to the end of the week is on every Friday from 6pm to 7:30pm. It's also probably the coolest hour and a half that you'll spend all week. Situated in the historic Salamanca Arts Centre Courtyard in Salamanca, with a rotation of eklectic and groove driven bands entertaining a melting pot of hippies, suits and everything in between, it's not a place you'll only go to once. Hello Rektanglers, I’m afraid to say that there will be no Courtyard this evening (Aug 14) due to unforeseen circumstances.

Well the mountain has a dusting of snow and there’s more to come this eve according to the BOM oracle.

While I do love a blanketed Kunanyi, the forecast is for increasing rain down here at river level so I’m afraid the Courtyard is cancelled this evening (July 24) folks.

Well we're into another season of furry hats, fingerless glove-wearing musicians and lots of bouncing up and down to keep warm !

Hey folks, the forecast and radar are looking very wet so the Courtyard is cancelled tonight (June 19) I'm afraid. You’ll have to go and do some Mofo-ishy things.
