Just announced: An Evening With Robert Forster & His Swedish Band, 'The Strawberries Tour'.

When Robert Forster’s ninth solo album, Strawberries, was released in May 2025, Robert was adamant that when he toured the album in Australia, it had to be with the Swedes that played on the record. Knowing their brilliance in the studio and on stage from previous European tours, he was determined to bring this particular show to Australia. To showcase the power and beauty the band brings to the Strawberries songs – the album listed at #7 in MOJO’s Top 75 Albums of 2025 – the setlist stretches back through the best of Forster’s acclaimed solo career and his illustrious time in The Go-Betweens. This is two hours of magic on stage. Forster, cut loose at the Odeon, Wednesday 9 September.

On sale from 12:00pm, Monday 15 June.

Just announced: Beau Miles is taking his Secret Screenings on the road. New, unreleased films. Intimate venues across Australia and New Zealand. None of them on YouTube yet; you'll be the first to see them. Three or four films, shown somewhere between a first and final draft. Not fully finished, but entirely watchable. You won't know what you're watching until it starts. Each one has a story beyond what's on screen.

In between, Beau tells stories. Why the films are the way they are. Why he loves finding things. Why he needs to shower more. Why a man on a small Victorian farmlet keeps dragging himself into rivers and eating spotty bananas and filming it all. The stories may or may not have anything to do with the films being shown. That's part of the deal.

The evening finishes with a Q&A—voted the best thing ever witnessed by one audience member. That audience member was Beau. He stands by it.
All happening at the Odeon, Saturday 31 October.

Presale from Thursday 11 June 10am - Friday 12 June 9am
On sale from Friday 12 June 10am
