Join us on Wednesday 29th July for the fourth instalment of Kelp & Casks, featuring the exceptional Heartwood Malt Wh**ky.

Heartwood Wh**ky, an independent bottler based in Huntingfield, has been crafting distinctive single malts, vatted and blended whiskies since 1999. Sourced from 21 distilleries and featuring 26 new makes, 25 barrel types, 7 different cooperages from around the world. Each release is guided by character rather than age, allowing every cask to reach its full potential before bottling.

For one night only, these remarkable whiskies will be paired with Kelp Bar’s premium seafood menu, showcasing fresh hook-to-plate catch and seasonal creations from our Executive Chef. Hosted by Heartwood owner Tim Duckett, this intimate tasting offers a memorable experience for both seasoned wh**ky enthusiasts and those looking to explore something new.

The third Kelp & Casks event is fast approaching on Wednesday 1st of July, and this time we are featuring the great pours of Old Kempton Distillery.

Old Kempton Distillery is located in an 1840s mansion called Dysart House, in the picturesque colonial town of Kempton. Selecting local Tasmanian ingredients for the distilling process, and finishing each bottle by hand, produces a product that is a testament to Tasmania’s rich heritage and craftsmanship.

This spirited evening pairs Old Kempton’s distinctive drams with Kelp Bar’s premium seafood menu, featuring fresh hook-to-plate catch and seasonal bites from the Executive Chef.
