Hobart Uni Bar
One of Hobart’s iconic venues, The Uni Bar has been a home to live music for over three decades. The watering hole for generations of Hobart university students, The Uni Bar has existed as an accessible space for all music lovers!
A who’s who of Australian acts to play at the venue have included the likes of Powderfinger, Eskimo Joe, Spiderbait, Divinyls, The Whitlams, The Cruel Sea, The Cat Empire, Ball Park Music, 360, Frenzal Rhomb, Sneaky Sound System, Hilltop Hoods, Birds of Tokyo, Xavier Rudd, Karnivool and PNAU to name just a few. Extending to international artists, the list expands to Pendulum, Crazy P***s, Z Trip, Lyrics Born, Luka Bloom, National Pornographic, Steve Earle, Billy Brag, Michelle Shocked, Public Enemy, Blackalicious and many more.
After a period of hiatus, The Uni Bar is back, revitalised for 2019 as the heart of live music in Hobart, offering a versatile space for touring acts to perform in Tasmania’s capital city.
