Our hearts are with the Hanna family, customers of ours for years, following the tragic loss of their beloved son, Elijah.

Many in our Heathmont community will know Elijah through the Heathmont Jets Football Netball Club, Tintern Grammar, other local sport, work and friendship circles. The overwhelming outpouring of love and support for his family is a testament to the remarkable young man he was and the impact he had on so many lives.

A GoFundMe has been established, with the blessing of Elijah's family, to help support them through this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will assist with funeral expenses, meal support for the family, and any funds beyond immediate family needs will be donated to Lifeline in honour of Elijah's Legacy of Love.

Milk & Wine has some news. Some of our wonderful customers have already noticed and asked, about the sign on our roof.

Yes, our building, NOT THE BUSINESS despite the ambiguous wording on the sign, is for sale. Repeat, just the building NOT our business.

We are disappointed to be going through this change, but our business will continue, Beth and I will remain the owners and we will continue to provide our wonderful community with our impeccable service.

PSA! A new menu has dropped! (And it’s not pink this time! Sam 1: Beth:0)

We have decided to do a menu that represents where things are at and that make it more affordable for our customers, our friends.

We have chosen to go back-to-basics and do it bloody well. All the dishes are made with seasonal flavours and the variety means there is something there for everyone.

Our business desperately needs your support at the moment so get on down and try what we have put together and we can guarantee it will be served with a side of kindness :)

Last night, we headed out to Melbourne Airport and bought home one of the most loved members of our m+w family, Bip.

Bip has been in Nepal for 2 months due to sudden family commitments and to say we missed him would be an understatement.

Our team (and even past members of our team, Dave!) aren’t just staff members to us, they are our family. Our family feels full once again.

There is a very special person our cafe and our hearts have always supported and her name is Katie.

Katie suffers from a condition called Neurofibromatosis (NF) Type 1. People living with NF do not have the gene that suppresses tumours. Meaning, that every nerve ending has the potential to grow a tumour. She currently has tumours on her optic nerves, in her brain and on her neck. She has been on chemotherapy treatment since diagnosed at 18 months old. She is now 12.

She currently receives medical treatment from the Royal Children's Hospital but once she turns 18, medical help becomes very expensive. MRI's, medication, specialist appointments etc. will all rest on this beautiful girls shoulders, and out of her pocket, just to stay alive.

A gofundme page has been set up to raise funds towards her future medical expenses that will be held in her name until she is 18. If you can and would like to contribute, please follow the link and help give Katie a more stable future.

Good evening all, unfortunately due to staff shortages in our kitchen, we will be closed this coming Monday Labour Day public holiday.
