Four Pillars Gin Four Pillars is a craft gin distillery in Healesville, Victoria, proudly established in 2013. Perhaps most interesting is our use of whole oranges.

Four Pillars was created by three mates and one extraordinary still (Cam, Matt, Stu and Wilma). Our first release was a Rare Dry Gin which has gone on to win medals around the world. In terms of our ambition for our first gin, we didn't want a London Dry Gin but we couldn't ignore juniper. The way we have approached it is that the juniper is the canvas and the other botanicals paint the picture. T

he tassie pepper is brilliant on the palate, giving us warmth rather than heat. Lemon myrtle is a beautiful, complex and unique alternative to lemon peel. It’s unusual to use fresh produce in gin but Australian citrus is highly aromatic and supports the spicier botanicals like coriander, cardamom and star anise. Ultimately, it’s about trying to deliver the best of both worlds… a perfect, classic gin and something that would fascinate and delight even the most hardened gin fanatic… spicy but with great citrus, a truly modern Australian gin. We have since expanded both our distillery and production with five magnificent gins in our core range. Jude, Beth, Eileen and Coral now accompany Wilma in producing spectacular gin, and we have a Four Pillars Laboratory based in Surry Hills, Sydney. We won International Gin Producer of the Year at both the 2019 and 2020 IWSC awards in London. Tomorrow we’re reopening our gin vault to let you taste five of our most loved limited-edition collaborations from the archives. These are the long-gone but forever-requested gins behind the glass at our Healesville Distillery, including Spice Trade Gin, Whiskey Barrel Gin, Cousin Veras Gin, Dry Island Gin and Pure Kisume Gin! The 45-minute tastings will run in our private mezzanine for one day only, with the opportunity to snap up limited numbers of these bottles no longer on shelves. This is one for the fans. Huge congrats to our own Sarah Prowse, who’s been named a finalist for Distiller of the Year at the 2026 ADA Industry Awards!

The awards celebrate excellence, innovation and leadership across Aussie distilling, and we’re very proud to see Sarah recognised by the industry folks who really get what goes into making bloody great spirits. It’s also a real nod to the work our distilling team is doing to push Australian distilling forward, one batch at a time.

Also thrilled to share Four Pillars Distillery is a finalist for the Sustainability & Responsibility Award! Over the years, we’ve done a huge amount of work to reduce our environmental footprint by saving water, energy and waste. Lately, that’s expanded to our Four Pillars of the Community Grants program and a much bigger focus on social impact. Michelle and the team deserve enormous credit for driving our Sustainability Plan as we continue to grow our gin business.

We’ll have our fingers crossed for the announcement on 18 June, but mostly we’re just stoked to be in the mix.

FOUR PILLARS HOSTS: FRANKIE'S TORTAS & TACOS! The talented team from Fitzroy's Mexican hot spot are coming out to our Healesville Distillery for a one night only dining experience on Wednesday 3 June.

Expect some of their most iconic dishes, like slow braised pork carnitas, pulled pork prawn tostadas with aguachile, and chicken mole tacos. Of course, there will be guac and chips and we couldn’t go past churros for dessert...

Each ticket includes an arrival cocktail and three courses of Frankie’s Tortas & Tacos deliciousness. Plus, Nick and the team will be serving cocktail specials made with our Mexican-inspired El Cuatro Gin, available to purchase on the night. Our fave is the El Mariachi, a reimagined ginny Margarita with El Cuatro Gin, mango, lime, agave nectar, red chilli and tajin oil.
