Didn’t take enough photos from last Saturday’s lunch with Little Yarra Dairy, but here’s some tarts made from caramelised whey left from the halloumi we make from their beautiful fresh milk. Some snaps of some lovely chats table side with our guests who came away with a greater connection to the food on their plate. Group photo with some of the great company on the day. Huge thanks and big hugs to Tyrone and Laura, super dooper grateful to work with you .yarra.dairy

We can’t wait to host regenerative farmers Nats & Jono Hurst of on Saturday June 27th for a pork & cider lunch! Just take a scroll through these photos from their farm in Blampied (back of Daylesford), what a life for the beautiful Berkshire pigs. Predominantly sold direct to customer through farmers markets, we’re grateful to be working with their pork and the lunch will be a big celebration, chef has many exciting plans.. Rolling off the back of our recent wonderful lunch with Little Yarra Dairy we can attest that these meet the farmer lunches are a super lovely setting to connect, learn, appreciate and eat very well! Our own apple cider will be flowing on the day with a complimentary welcome glass for all. The themed menu will have our Chef’s Selection and à la carte options on the day. Nats and Jono will be working the room talking regen farming, cider in hand. Saturday lunch June 27th. Save the date, book the date, tell your friends. Another brilliant poster from the Berlin office

We are so excited to host our local dairy farmers Tyrone and Laura Brown for a celebration of their beautiful farm Little Yarra Dairy in Yarra Junction on Saturday June 13. Joel has written a fantastic dairy themed menu using their milk, cream and yoghurt in each course to celebrate the quality, flavour and diversity of such wonderful produce. The lunch will be a great chance to meet and learn more about small scale dairy farming as Tyrone and Laura will be table side to chat with you on the day. Very casual, very fun and special. Come and enjoy this shared style three-course menu or just pop in for some snacks. This menu will run along side our Winter à la carte menu. We hope you can join us! Thanks always to our penpal

Maria & Kadir from Albania have lived in Healesville over 60-years growing organic veg and selling the surplus from their roadside stall. We’re grateful for their beautiful capsicums we’ve roasted and marinated atop a crostini finished with anchovy.

Our Sunday lunch with guest chef Tom Campbell is just around the corner and we’re so excited to share the menu he’s put together for it!* Coming off a busy month of events at his restaurant Thelma in the Adelaide Hills and a sold out event for Tasting Australia with O.My, we’re grateful Tom’s made the time to come to Healesville this Autumn. With a resume of kitchen experience that includes Maos (London), Relae (Copenhagen), Africola and IGNI (Sydney) and NOMA (Kyoto) it really is a massive treat to host such a talent at No7 on Sunday May 31st. Link to book in bio and through our website. *Menu subject to change

The cumquat in our backyard is bowing under the weight from all this seasons fruit. Though sorbet is usually associated with a warmer time of year we think it’s such a refreshing and necessary palette cleanser when dining with us. Our homemade cumquat jam on crepes has been a breakfast staple of late and last year’s steamed orange pudd will surely work with our cumquat glut.
