Beautiful sunset Snapper for Tim on this evenings guide.
After putting a great feed of whiting together and a quick sounder fine tuning we had a scout in the north arm.
It didn’t take long to find some nice returns and the correct Anchoring got the bite within 15 minutes.
Cuttle fish belly hung off a 6/0 Gamakatsu octopus circle claiming the prize.

Filming today on Westernport with Craig and Sam, we put a solid effort in a got the rewards.

After an eventful morning trying to hold anchor on the snapper, we made a quick drop into Phillip island marine to pick up a sarca and hey presto we were sorted.
No joy on the reds so a quick stop on ting on the way home.
Saw Mark and Sil take home a great feed.

A nice double bag for this mornings guide out of Yarringa
We found the ting to be quite timid with the slower tides so dropping the bait size down, using the softer pippi cocktails and cast way back slow winding in did the trick.

The whiting action couldn’t have been much better today, departing Westernport Marina just before lunch and enjoying the sunny warm conditions on the port.
With Scotty Billy and myself all getting our bags and threw a dozen back too.
It’s amazing what a degree or two of water temperature can do.
