🏉 Footy Colours Tournament sponsored by BCIB Insurance and Elders Insurance – What a Great Day! 🏉
It was fantastic to see 18 teams from around our region come along and compete in our Footy Colours Tournament on Saturday. There was plenty of great bowls, friendly competition and, of course, some fantastic footy colours on display!
🥇 Winners: Congratulations to the Colin Goldsworthy team from Mortlake, finishing with 4 wins and an impressive 45 shots up.
🥈 Runner-up: The Dean Jenkins team from Grangeburn, also with 4 wins and 23 shots up.
🥉 Third place: Wendy Kosch's team from Grangeburn.
👗🏉 Best Dressed: Congratulations to Cat, Jules Polllock and Hawk Sheree Pevitt.
🏆 Best Dressed Team: The Dean Jenkins team – they certainly got into the footy spirit!
A special highlight of the day was celebrating Bert’s 80th birthday 🎉🎂. We were also very pleased to present Bert with his Veterans Badge in recognition of his many years in bowls.
