Gulf Brewery The Gulf Brewery, located in scenic Hahndorf, SA. We create hand crafted beers and gin Gulf Brewery is a microbrewery producing hand crafted boutique beers.

You can taste our beers at the cellar door and either relax and have a beer by the glass or take away to drink at your leisure. We have a wide range of beers available, so we can guarantee there will be a beer to suit your palette from a crisp refreshing lager to smooth dark chocolate stout. Tasting plates of cheeses, local meats and olives are also available to complement the beer selection. We can also host functions by appointment. The cellar door is located between the IGA and Otto’s bakery.

We have sadly made the decision to close our Hahndorf Cellar door. Over the last 3 years, our running costs have risen substantially and a very large rent increase looming, means that we are going a different direction with the brewery. Our last trading day will be Sunday May 7th. We will continue to supply hotels and bars and will still have mail order available.

I don't think we have every recommended anything other than ourselves on here before, but we have to recommend a show at the Fringe.

We went and saw "Laser Kiwi - Rise of the Olive" at the fringe (OK, yes, we were given free tickets). It is a fair bit of short comedy skits and a bit of circus and very different. It is not one that you can tell people about in advance, it has to be experienced. Well worth seeing!

We have free tickets to give away to the show on Fri. 17 Mar. 2023 at 9:30PM. More details on that later.

We have new COVID restrictions in place in SA. but we have plenty of outdoor seating so you can relax in the shade with an ale or two.

We love beer! Any others out there that want to work behind the bar pouring and talking about beer?

We are looking for casual bar staff from now until the end of January. You will need to have a good understanding of craft beer and be able to explain beer styles to customers.

You will need your RSA and be prepared to pass the COVID marshal exam. All shifts will be afternoon shifts commencing at noon. Please contact us via email: [email protected]
