As we approach our final night, we extend our sincere appreciation to our local community, loyal customers, and travelers. Please note that our pub and kitchen facilities will close on Saturday, the 27th, but our campgrounds will remain open to provide a safe haven for travelers.

This is part 1 of semi retirement 😝

After 7 wonderful years at the GT, we’ve made the decision to start our semi-retirement journey.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but the time feels right to slow down a little and spend more time enjoying the lifestyle that this beautiful part of the world has to offer.

We would like to sincerely thank all of our loyal locals, regular customers, and weary travellers who have walked through our doors over the years. Thank you for your patronage, your stories, your friendship, and the many laughs we’ve shared along the way. You’ve helped make the GT much more than just a tavern.

A special thank you also goes to our past and present staff. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving fantastic, affordable meals have been the backbone of the business. We couldn’t have done it without you.

While the tavern and kitchen will close, we’re not going far. We love this community and will still be around, continuing to operate the campground, which will remain open until October.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our journey. The memories we’ve made over the past seven years will stay with us forever.

🎱 That’s a wrap for our final bingo night! 🎱

What a way to finish the season, with plenty of winners and an even bigger crowd of supporters.

KILLA flew the flag for the Wangaratta mob with a win, while Glenn had to share the glory with Ron from the ever-competitive Molongle crew. Bill and David split a prize, and Rose also managed to get her hands on a win.

The big news of the night was the jackpot finally going off! 💰 With a four-way split, both Rob Snr and Rob Jnr scored one for the graziers, while Ken and Barb S from The Elliott claimed the remaining winning spots.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported our little bingo nights. What started as a bit of fun turned into a great social evening full of laughs, friendly rivalries, dodgy number-calling accusations, and plenty of community spirit.

To all our regulars, travellers, locals, the Molongle crew, the Wangaratta mob, the graziers, and everyone else who joined in along the way—thank you for making it such a success.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Until then, keep your eyes down and your dabbers ready! 🎱😊🍻
