We're sorry for being so quiet recently! We had sell out markets before Christmas, which left our stock next to nothing! Thank you to all those who have supported The Riverside Courtyard, we are so pleased that you are all loving the honey!

We have let the bees do their thing over summer, and are now restocking! If you would like to order some honey, feel free to DM us. Alternatively, go to our website www.theriversidecourtyard.com and place your order there. We are happy to arrange local drop off to certain Hawkesbury and Penrith addresses, just DM us to check first!

We are so thankful for the past couple of days of rain, it's much needed here in the Hawkesbury!

But don't let that put you off visiting us at The Westies Markets Glenmore Park from 9am to 2pm tomorrow, Saturday 6th October!

We won't be at the November markets, so be sure to visit us and get your honey fix for the next couple of months!

Has your honey gone cloudier than the sky today?

Do not despair, this is not a bad thing. Your honey has not gone off... in fact, unless is incorrectly processed (nasties added) then honey doesn't go off! Honey has been found in Egyptian tombs dating over 3000 years old and is still edible!

If your honey has gone cloudy, this just means the sugars are beginning to crystallise. You can embrace the cloudiness and eat it as is, it may even be thicker and easier to keep on toast! Or you can warm it gently and it will go back to it's pre-cloudy state and be runnier!

A 350g jar of our 🌟Pure 💛Raw 🇦🇺 Australian🍯 Honey

Our bees are left to their own devices when it comes to foraging, we don't supplement their feed with sugar water, it's up to them and the local flowering plants and trees! Most importantly, we only take from them when there is an abundance. Honey is a food store for the bees, for us to take too much would be damaging to the hive. We are here to encourage them, and by helping them with pests, extra room and providing a local water source, we are rewarded with their sweet honey!
Here at The Riverside Courtyard, we are only happy to share that excess honey with you!

This is where all our bee-eautiful honey comes from. Straight from the hive, then it is crushed to release the honey, strained to filter the wax and bottled for you to enjoy!

Did you know that enjoying local honey has been shown to help seasonal allegy sufferers? Enjoying one teaspoon a day is enough to boost your immunity to local pollen. But make sure it's from your region as that will contain the pollen of the flowers of your area. One of the many reasons to enjoy local honey!

With all the talk of imported 'fake' honey at the moment, it makes it all the more important to buy local!

You can be sure that when you buy honey from The Riverside Courtyard, it is 100% raw, Australian honey. Our bees forage along the banks of the Grose River, and their honey is crushed from the comb, strained and then bottled. Nothing added, nothing taken away!
