It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of our Different Drummer Bar in Glebe. This decision is not made lightly, but due to ongoing challenges our doors will be closing on the night of the Wednesday 30th of April.
While 2.5 years is not that long it felt like an amazing journey and we had the incredible privilege of sharing our passion for drinks, food, live music, a good time and last but not least a sense of community. I thank all of your familiar faces for all the wonderful memories you have given to myself and our staff.
We are forever grateful for the love and support you gave us during our time here in Glebe and the many many cheers over a drink.
While this chapter for myself and the Drummer is closing we are working hard in the background to pass the baton to someone who will be able to keep the spirit that our past and present owners have tried to keep going while moving forward to an even better experience for you.
Thank you for being part of this story and supporting local bars and the live music scene. It is a very hard time for all at the moment.
