Here We Go!

Below are the 32 groups for the Slate Intermediate Pool Championship Calcutta.

The Calcutta will be LIVE on Cueball TV on Monday 8th of June AEST.

This year we will be paying out anyone who makes the top 16 with the following breakdown:
Winner - 35%
Runner Up - 17%
Semis x2 - 8%
1/4 Finalists x4 - 4%
Top 16 x 8 - 2%

We will be accepting pre-bids, but not on this post, any pre-bids on this post will be ignored. A separate post for pre-bids will be created.

The draw will also be done LIVE on CueballTV AEST Wednesday the 10th of June.

Good Morning folks!

We have been thrilled with the response to the tournament so far. 128 players paid within 8 hours and another 20-30 on the waiting list within the day shows just how big this has become. The grading committee spent pretty much that whole time going back and forth on eligibility and approving or declining entries.

Some further clarification on the eligibility of past winners/runners up.
If you make the final, you will receive an automatic 1-year ban from being eligible for the tournament. This does not mean that once that one year is over, that you will be automatically allowed in the year after, you can submit your interest, and the grading committee will assess the entry on its merit.

Some other points of clarification for those who don't know how it all works.

The tournament will start at 10am on the Friday. There will be play all 3 days. Slate has a $10 open cash comp on the Thursday night for anybody who gets in early and wants to check out the tables.

We will be in contact with all of the entries in the near future to confirm mobile numbers as we will be using PoolStat with the SMS links.

You'll notice the calcutta this year will pay out to the last 16. This whole thing has gotten so big, we thought the calcutta payout structure should somewhat mirror the tournament prize money structure, and that is paying to the top 16. You make the Sunday, you get paid, and so does whoever bought you in the calcutta.
