Joining the Last Hurrah We Can't Wait!

It is bittersweet to share that we will be playing an acoustic set at Holy Smokes Bar & Grill this Saturday arvo, 1 October 2022. Sadly, the doors of this great venue will be closing for the last time the next day.

Holy Smokes is a special place for us. We played at Holy Smokes for the first time one arvo back in late 2017. After that we had a ball playing there every fortnight for over 2 years, and then whenever we could after COVID turned the world upside down.

To all the Holy Smokes owners, managers and staff, past and present, we salute you! You all rock! Thank you all for everything! Thank you for letting us do our thing at your great venue!

So friends, please come down, grab a beer, have a bite of good old American style food, listen to some Bluegrass music from us, and help make sure Holy smokes goes out with a bang.

Like all good things, we have come to an end.

We’ve busted our arses to stay afloat through the pandemic but unfortunately it has run harder and faster than we could and eventually caught us. We’ve met some of the best people in our lives running Smokes and many we consider great friends.

None of you are numbers to us, you’re simply a part of the love and tapestry that kept the vibe together.

We’re going out with a bang!! Everyone is invited, past & present.

We have new opportunities that we’re exploring so it might not be too long until we’re back up and running in a new premise.

Til then, come say hey!! We miss you already.

We run all next week then shut up shop on the 2nd of October.

I’m too sad to keep texting now.
