The rumours are true!
After many beautiful years in our little 1850s Fremantle cottage, the time has come for Nieuw Ruin to close its doors.
This place has been so much more than a restaurant to us. It’s been a home for ideas, friendships, late nights, big celebrations and the kind of hospitality that only happens when a room is full of people who love what they do.
We’ve been lucky beyond words to cook with the most extraordinary produce from Western Australia, supported by local farmers, fishers, winemakers and a community that believed in us from the very beginning.
Thank you to everyone who pulled up a chair, shared a bottle, celebrated something special or simply came by for dinner, Nieuw Ruin only ever existed because of you.
Our final service will be 15 March.
