If you’ve stumbled through our arched green door in Fortitude Valley, you already know we don’t do things by the book.

Nok Nok is a fiercely independent, 30 seat cocktail lab run entirely by the three of us. We built this space to feel like a neighborhood living room, where we can focus on culinary-led flavour experiences and actual, genuine hospitality without the usual velvet-rope pretentiousness.

Lately, some incredibly lovely things have been happening in our tiny pocket venue. The team at QLD Tourism just named us a “Best of Queensland Experience,” and Hayden Wood over at Drinks Network published a piece on us, calling Nok Nok “one of the more interesting double acts in Australian Drink Culture.” To top off an already surreal season, we were named the 2026 Cocktail Bar of the Year at the Prestige Awards.

While the official accolades are nice, the words from the people sitting at our bar mean the most. Matt Skiba left a review saying there is “true craftsmanship with an adventure in every sip,” and Jose famously warned future guests, “Please do not order a classic cocktail... it would be a missed opportunity.”

In an industry full of corporate budgets and predictable menus, we are cutting straight through the noise to bring you drinks you’ve never experienced before. If you love a liquid adventure and want to see what happens when two people just do what they love, come pull up a stool.
