We brew a range of high quality fresh beers on a 10bbl (1,200 litre brew house). Co-founder, David Black hung up his suit after over 25 years as a chartered accountant with a Big 4 accounting firm to be the Brewer. After many years’ home brewing and tasting craft beers, and having completed the Federation University Graduate Certificate in Brewing, he took up his life-calling.

A big week in the brewhouse this week with one new beer and one returning favourite (Oyster Stout) in the tanks! Look out for these being released the first week of the Sept/Oct holidays.

This week the Taproom is open for beers, pizza and beer merch Thursday -Saturday 11am - 6pm.

We all know Forster-Tuncurry is famous for the best Oysters (and the best beer from Coastal Brewing Company obviously !)

So once in a while we put the two together and brew a beer using oysters from our good friends at _thirtythreedegrees

Today is the day - a batch of East33 Oyster Stout is on its way !

Sharing this on behalf of the terrific Great Lakes Pearl Dragons !

Great Lakes Pearl Dragons is holding its annual Learn to Paddle program starting on 19th September. The program runs over five consecutive Saturday mornings from 19th September through to 17th October 2026. They welcome all over the age of 12 years and of every ability who would like to give Dragon Boating a go.

Under qualified coaches you will learn dragon boating basics, paddling technique and team work. Gain Fun, Friendship and Fitness through dragon boating
The first Come and Try day on the 19th September is free and will be held at Little Street Baths, Forster from 7.30am to 10.00am. Thereafter if you wish to continue with the L2P program, there is a charge of $50.00 which will be deducted from your membership if you choose to join the club.

Please wear comfortable clothing that you exercise in and enclosed footwear all of which can get wet. Bring a hat or cap and a water bottle, as well as something warm to wear after paddling.

Taproom at the brewery open Thursday - Saturday 11am - 6pm. Drop in for a beer or a tasting paddle or for any beer gifts. You can also jump on to the online store and make up a carton or chose from our ready-selected cartons ('Hazies' or 'IPAs'). Don't forget we do free local delivery of cartons!
