This Saturday at 4pm, Cape Hawke Surf Life Saving Club will begin an epic challenge — rowing for a full 24 HOURS in support of Gotcha4Life! 💙

🟥 The 2026-27 PATROL SEASON IS HERE! 🟨

The countdown is on to another exciting patrol season at Cape Hawke SLSC, with 105 patrol shifts being shared across our 10 patrol teams to help keep our beaches safe.

This season, we're also introducing three special "Volunteers Needed" Patrols, open to members who would like to be part of something a little different:

💙 MEN-tal Health Patrol - Saturday 10 October.
Coinciding with World Mental Health Day, this patrol aims to promote positive male role models and acknowledge that many men find it difficult to open up about what they're going through. Sometimes a simple conversation can make all the difference.

🎄 Christmas Day Patrol - Friday 25 December
We're seeking volunteers to help keep our beach safe on Christmas Day. To make it easier for members to participate, this patrol can be completed in 2-hour shifts if preferred.

🩷 Pink Patrol - Sunday 7 March
Held on the eve of International Women's Day, this ladies only patrol will celebrate the strong, resilient and inspiring women in our club and community.

In addition to our weekend patrol commitments, there are also the regular public holiday patrols this season, including the new Anzac Day Public Holiday patrol and the final patrol of the season.

✅ All patrol shifts have now been added to SLS Hub.

📧 Full patrol rosters will be emailed to members before the weekend, following a few final adjustments to patrol team allocations.
