It’s been a whole three years since our very first party at the Night Heron in 2018.

The last twelve months has been difficult for many. With us along with the whole industry not being able to hold events. However, the break has brought some insight into the direction we want to take as a collective.

We’re still here, but we’ll be taking some time off from throwing parties.

In the meantime some merch and a compilation will be in the works (hopefully to be released by the end of the year).

Very sad news in the West today 🙁

We would like to thank the Heron for everything it has done for us and all the other emerging musicians, dj's, bands, artists, performers, and poets in Footscray. The Heron and their awesome team has always opened its arms to anyone keen to share their art and perform. Their community focus is something to be remembered.
Long live the Heron and those summer days spent in the beer garden. You will be missed

We are sad to announce that the Night Heron will not be reopening. Unfortunately we were unable to reach an agreement with our landlord. We will have more to say later. For now, we want to say a huge Thank You to everyone that supported us throughout the business. Especially our staff and extended Heron family. We have loved being a part of this community!
