This week we are pouring 2019 Ruggabellus 'Efferus' Mataro from the Barossa Valley in SA.

Savage, wild, untamed and undomesticated – or in Latin ‘Efferus’.

We’re putting this dark, broody and earthy red in the fridge for a light chill to inspire something a little different to be drunk on the deck out on Gertrude street.

Frank Cornelissen’s wines have gained a cult following over the years and for good reason!

We are lucky enough to have the opportunity to pour Susucaru Rosato by the glass this weekend.

A light bodied red that is full of bright red fruit flavour, a bit of spice and a long elegant line of volcanic minerality.

This is an opportunity to taste expressions of Nebbiolo from regional wines to single vineyard Barolo MGAs, and to explore Piedmont through the lens of other local varieties, such as Dolcetto, Barbera and the rarity that is Timorasso.
