Now that the dust has settled after our final week of service, we just want to take a moment to say a huge grazie from the bottom of our hearts. It’s been an emotional time for us, and your love and support throughout this journey has meant the world. While this is the end for Osteria il Coccia for now, we hope it’s not goodbye, but rather a see you soon.

In the meantime, we’d love to welcome you to our sister restaurant Carne Cucina, at 1/488 The Entrance Rd, Erina Heights. The passion continues, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Today is the day—a bittersweet one for us at Osteria il Coccia. We want to wish a heartfelt Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers, stepfathers, grandads, and the incredible men in your lives. It’s also our final day of service, and we’re filled with gratitude for everyone who has come to bid us farewell over the last two weeks. It has been an absolute honour to share this journey with you. We can’t wait to make this Father’s Day a truly special one for everyone dining with us today. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

💔 We know this is tough, and the short notice of our closure is beyond our control. If you have an Osteria il Coccia gift voucher, we would love for you to use it before our final lunch and dinner services on Sunday, 1st September. It truly pains us that we can’t honour them at Carne & Cucina, as much as we wish we could, but since it’s a joint venture, it’s just not possible.

We’re doing everything we can in these last days and would be honoured to welcome you one final time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your understanding and support. It means the world to us.

Father’s Day at Osteria il Coccia this year will be an especially meaningful day, as it marks our final day of service. We’ve crafted a 5-course menu that reflects everything we love about this place and the joy it has brought us over the years.

We invite you to join us for this special occasion, starting with our beloved sourdough bread and smoked butter, followed by piadina with taramasalata and salmon roe, pain brioche with onions and chicken pâté, and fresh tuna with celeriac and fennel. The main courses include cappelletti with ricotta and Parmesan Bolognese sauce, followed by our Rangers Valley sirloin with potato gratin and salsa verde. And, of course, our true tiramisu to finish.

This final experience is $135 per person, with the option to add on oysters, matching wines and additional sides.

Due to overwhelming demand, we’ve also decided to open for dinner service on Father’s Day from 6pm. This will be a day full of emotion and cherished memories, so we encourage you to book quickly to be part of this final service.

We are deeply touched by the overwhelming love and support you've shown us since the announcement of our closure. Your kind words and shared memories mean the world to us, and we feel your pain as much as you feel ours. We've received so many messages that, while we wish we could respond to each of you personally, we want to address a few common questions here.

If you'd like to book a table for our remaining services, please do so via our website, and if your preferred time isn’t available, you can join our standby list. For those with bookings in September and beyond, rest assured you won’t be charged—any card details provided were just a pre-authorisation, and no money has or will be taken. If you have a white Good Food Gift Card, it can be used at any participating Good Food restaurant, including Carne & Cucina.

We’ll share further details as we have them, so please stay tuned. Thank you again for your unwavering support. We’re heartbroken to be closing our doors but grateful to have shared so many wonderful memories with you all. We hope to see you at Carne & Cucina soon.

Dear Friends and Family of Osteria il Coccia,

After five incredible years, it is with heavy hearts and immense sadness that we must announce the closure of Osteria il Coccia. Our final service will be on Sunday, 1st September. This restaurant has been our heart and soul, and it pains us deeply to say goodbye to the place we’ve poured so much love into.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, including ongoing issues with the building developers and certifications, we have been given very little time to close our doors.

In the meantime, we are channelling our love and energy into our sister restaurant, Carne & Cucina, and we would be honoured to welcome you there.

Thank you for your unwavering support, love, and the countless memories we’ve shared over these years. We hope to see you soon, not for a farewell, but for a new beginning.

Saturday nights at Osteria il Coccia are all about our five-course degustation experience — a set menu that takes you on a delicious culinary journey. The menu changes monthly to highlight the best seasonal produce but always begins with our house-baked sourdough and smoked butter, followed by courses of seafood, pastas, and meats, and finishing with one of Chef Nico’s signature desserts.

Our sister restaurant, Carne & Cucina, is now open in Erina Heights! 🥂 Make sure you stop in to visit, shop the range of gourmet quality meat cuts and ready-made meals, and say hi to Chef Nico in the kitchen! The restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm til late, and Fridays from 12pm til late.
