Open Mic is on tonight (Wednesday) at the MoshPit Bar....

Our Open Mic has been running since 2019 and many of our Open Mic participants will remember Hiske Weijers, who sadly passed away last week.

Hiske was our first Open Mic host and did the gig for around 12 months. Here she is on the MoshPit stage on Wednesday 5th August 2020, kicking things off and warming up the crowd. Rest in peace Hiske.

Tonight the bar opens at 5pm, with Happy Hour from 5 till 7pm with $5 schooners and $7 pints of Young Henrys Natural L***r and $5 glasses of house red and white w**e.

It's all happening this coming week at the MoshPit Bar.

Due to demand and trying to squeeze in as much as we can, we're back to 7 days a week until we shut the doors for last time in just 11 weeks time, with Open Band making a return this coming Tuesday.

Sunday arvo at the MoshPit Bar....

An afternoon of alternative cover bands playing everything from late 70's/80's new wave and synth pop through to 90's alt rock and beyond!

Sadly, this will be Substance's last gig at the MoshPit 😩

3:30 to 7pm, $10 entry

Set Times:
Bar opens at 3pm
Lunar Module 4pm
Substance 5pm
Doll Parts Band Sydney 6pm

All over by 7pm so you can get home for an early night before the onslaught of the coming week.

It's a Saturday double header at the MoshPit Bar....

This arvo from 3pm Playne Jayne, Magpies on Fire and Our Thing take to the stage. Free Entry gig.

Tonight from 8pm Berra Bars take over the MoshPit for a massive night of hip hop with some of Canberra's finest MCs including MN Cappo, Scarecrow and FlawlezZ, along with Bytemarks, Southbound and Chemi-Cal.

Also on the bill are Light From A Stranger and MC Wormie, doing his last ever set. He has a bunch of special guests who'll be joining him for one last hurrah. Of course, DJ Jimmy The Hand will be on hand to do what he does best.

The night will be a co-hosted by Izzy and Primitive and also includes a cypher session featuring the RTB crew.

Bar opens 2pm, Happy Hour 6 till 8pm with five buck schooners / seven buck pints of Young Henrys Natural L***r, and glasses of house red and white win for a fiver.
