OPT = Old Paramount Theatre 🎬

Twenty-two-ish years ago the Paramount Theatre was converted into a restaurant, bar and late night venue. Over time though, it slowly transformed into the nightclub you know today, becoming an icon of Echuca-Moama ⭐️

During that run, we put on countless shows for countless people, ranging from; NYE spectaculars, Underage Parties, Inclusion Discos and Southern 80 parties big enough to host Timmy Trumpet.

As we bow out of the Echuca late-night scene, we urge everyone to support their local. Within walking distance from us are so many fantastic venues, but if they don't have your support they too may have to follow suit... go out! Be social! Spend time with your mates! ‼️

Go have a Gypo Sunday Sesh, or a Two Lads at Bar Lee 🍻

Enjoy the UFC at the American, and the Grand Final on the Echuca's screen 🏉

Whatever you do and wherever you do it, enjoy yourself and enjoy reconnecting with mates ❤️

📣 Team OPT Shoutout:

ASH - has been with Team OPT since early 2022 and has shown us how positive and fun she is through an infectious smile. Ash you work multiple jobs at a time and just seem to get it done without a hitch, your work ethic and energy are fantastic and our guests are better off for it ⚡️

BLAKE - has been on Team OPT since the Nov ‘21 reopening under new ownership, starting as a 16 year old glassy, and now working his way into bartending AND even DJing too. Unreal! It has been fantastic for the Team and regular patrons to see you grow from the 16 year old beanie kid, into this caring 19 year old that has everyone in his corner cheering for him 🫶

MAIA - has had two stints on Team OPT now, only being separated by the birth of her daughter Addi whom would hold the record for the youngest OPT patron ever we suspect! Maia you’re a gentle and inquisitive soul that absolutely makes other’s nights that bit better when they see you. It has been amazing to have you back on the team, tripping on thin air as you do so well 🍃

JAZ - has been a massive support behind the scenes! Wether it’s talking event ideas and keeping Jacob going, or providing that hospitable smile behind the bar at all times. You’ve completed the evolution from OPT regular patron, to superstar Team OPT member. Youre a star ⭐️

SHAN - has been a major part of OPT since joining in Jan 2015, a massive feat! The photographer / DJ / Shift Supervisor / Lighting Technician / Sound Engineer / Red Bull Vodka enthusiast has long been ‘the guy’ behind the scenes of Echuca’s most iconic business. Shan, you’re an absolute legend and your generosity with your time is not lost on any of us 🙌
