Hi again. Nearly a month since the last update. Still in lockdown. I'm really not sure how this is going to turn out for us. We are going to have a planning meeting next week to have a good look at where to from I'd say November.

Good morning all. This is just a quick update to let you know Dunedoo Brewing is still an entity. It’s just that we’ve been coronafied so to speak. Lock down and breweries closing has forced a pivot in planning.
DBC beer has appeared on tap in a variety of pubs and venues throughout the coast.
Unfortunately, operations have ceased until financial certainty in the market returns.
DBC will continue to support local events and sports through the 2022 year.

Our coastal pilot tap yard.
A new recipe for our Golden Highway Lager @ 3.4%
A pilot batch of Strong Ginger Beer @ 4.7%
Plus our Meet The Wolf, a chocolate milk stout @ 7.2%. The Wolf is being used as a test for barrel aging.
A batch of beer is coming out tomorrow. 😎

Hi everyone. Just taking a break from doing a 50 litre pilot batch of a gluten free lager. It’ll finish out at 4.2%. It got me thinking 🤔
If I could get some local thought on gluten free beer and hard seltzer, which is also gluten free and really refreshing. There is a massive request for it in the city.
Do you think gluten free or seltzer would work in Dunedoo. Cans or on tap???

Our beautiful Hallertau Mitt hops. Thanks so much to Darren Mathews for growing and nurturing them. I’ll be harvesting all the buds this Friday.
From there they will be in the whirlpool at the end of boil of limited release lager, which will be called Swans B2B. This beer will kick off the Swans attempt to become back to back premiers 2020 -2021.

Hi everyone. Just an update. I am coming out today to have some meetings and to evaluate the hops. The hops are called Hallertau Mittlefrau. A very old German noble hop that will be used for our two signature lagers, Silo Lager and Talbragar Old.
Also take a photo so I can update the pic of the silo on FB
I hope we can catch up in the near future.

Hey all. We are doing a 60 litre pilot batch of a choc milk stout. It will rock out at 6.2%.
Ingredients:
2 row backbone malt
Wheat malt
Crystal malt
Roasted malt
Chocolate malt
Black patent malt
Lactose at 10 minutes in boil.
Bitterness by Tasmanian hops at 37 IBU.
This brew will be fantastic in the middle of winter in Dunedoo when it as cold as... you know the rest. 🤫🤫

Good morning :)
Thanks for the terrific responses and the questions. I would like to answer Trevor, Sue and Merideth's questions now.
Dunedoo Brewing Co was so very close to opening at the Royal about 12 months ago, however, I had a catastrophic injury and could not move my right arm. The owners of the Royal were absolutely wonderful in waiting so long, but alas, I could not get better any quicker. The Royal is up for sale and I am sure someone will purchase and do it proud.
I had completed lots of market research in the town and settled on the core ranges of beers as seen on our website.
There have been a number of breweries in Sydney and the Abermain Hotel who jumped in behind me when they found out the situation, which blew Janelle and I away!
I am now well enough to start the venture again.
We have hops growing in the town, grain to be malted that was grown in Dunedoo, and water from a terrific award winning bore in Birriwa. I have even got Proprietory Dunedoo yeast sitting in my chemist's lab.
I am coming out now to hunt for a place to brew, taps for our beer (which I have kegs ready to go), sponsor teams and get the plan rolling. Janelle and I hope to see you soon.
