Have you seen our new Produce Shelter? The shelter is a partnership between the CRC & Dumbleyung Community Garden, creating a space for fresh, homegrown produce to be shared within our community. Thanks to the Men’s Shed for bringing it to life!

It’s a donation-based, honesty system so take what you need, leave a donation if you can, and drop off any extra produce you’d like to share. The space is going to evolve even more over the coming weeks... so watch this space 💙🌾

🚦 ROAD TO BLUEBIRD - Road Safety Activities! 🚲

Join us at the Dumbleyung CRC these school holidays for a fun, hands-on session all about staying safe on and around our roads.

🎨Children will take part in a range of activities, including:
• Road Safety activity books, worksheets and games
• Designing their own Road Safety social media message
• Creating pedestrian and roadside safety signs for the Dumbleyung Bluebird Festival and future events.
• Road Safety quizzes and prizes!
• Discussing road safety and staying safe as pedestrians, cyclists and passengers

Did you know the largest natural inland body of water in WA is right on our doorstep? Lake Dumbleyung is a vast salt lake, and the scenic drive up to P***y Cat Hill rewards you with one of the best views in the Wheatbelt: water and salt flats on one side, rolling wheat fields on the other. After good rains, the lake comes alive, and the boats, skis and kayaks come out, and it's home to some 25,000 birds.

Spring's a beautiful time to head up, especially at sunset. Then come back to the Inn for dinner and a yarn about what you spotted.
