🌧️💨 What a wet and wild start to the week!

Just a few important reminders about what's happening around the club and community this week:

📅 Wednesday 17th – The DCC Kitchen will be closed.

📅 Thursday 18th – DBA will be holding their General Meeting at 6:00pm. DDHS will also be hosting Auslan Day.

📅 Friday 19th – DDHS is hosting the Secondary Winter Carnival. Following the carnival, the club will be open from 4:00pm, with the kitchen opening at 5:00pm for dinner service.

A friendly reminder that several of our staff members will be away this week due to birthday celebrations and representing our region at the Hockey Country Championships. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this busy period.

Please be kind to our amazing volunteers who will be helping keep everything running smoothly. Their time and effort are greatly appreciated, and we couldn't do it without them! ❤️

📢 WEEKLY CLUB UPDATE 📢

The week of 10th–14th is looking a little quieter around the club, so we'd love to see everyone get down and show their support! 💙

🍽️ Wednesday and Friday menus are now up – be sure to check them out and book your table.

Whether you're stopping in for a meal, a drink with friends, or just to catch up with fellow members, every visit helps support your club.

We're open Wednesday through Sunday, and we'd love to see some familiar faces around the place this week.

A big Saturday reminder: we’ve got a home game against Wongan, and it’s shaping up to be another cracking night for the club. The hockey girls are taking over the kitchen and serving up dinner, and the social team have the iPod locked into our new sound system to keep the vibes rolling all evening.

Let’s pack the sidelines, make some noise, enjoy a great feed, and get behind our sports. Another awesome community night incoming — see you there! 💛🐯🖤🏉🏑🏐

We are thrilled to announce the installation of our brand-new audio-visual sound system upgrade! This exciting project will greatly enhance the experience for everyone attending events and activities at our venue.

A huge thank you to Anthony and his team for their hard work, dedication, and expertise in bringing this project to life.

We would also like to sincerely thank our major sponsors — Dowerin Events Management, Bendigo Bank Goomalling, Dowerin Netball Club, and Dowerin P&C. Without all of your generous support and contributions, this project would not have gone ahead.

🔥 DCC is OPEN this Friday, May 22nd! 🍻
Bar opens from 4PM and the kitchen from 5PM.

We’ve locked in one of Tigerland’s locals to help us out this weekend, so come down, grab a feed and check out the new big screen! 📺🐯

Come watch the boys train before our away game against the Possums on Sunday.

Don’t forget — we’re also open tonight, Saturday and Sunday. Everyone’s pitching in to help keep the doors open and the club alive, and we truly appreciate all the support from our community ❤️

We’re currently looking for new staff and volunteers — there’s always something to do around the club!
