On Monday 22nd June our ladies Pennant side consisting of Ashlee Oonah Sue Robyn and Prue took on Bowraville at Coffs Harbour. Unfortunately we didn’t come away with the win with Ashlee squaring and the others losing.
Thank you ladies it is about competing and learning and we look forward to our next match at Bellingen on the 20th July

Winner of the Men was Ian Cork with 42 points, those new hips are definitely not hindering you.
ladies winner was Oonah Harvey with 36 pts on c/b from runner up Heather Menzies 36 pts

Our captain Matt had a bad day with the putter having 7 x 3 putt greens. He is open to having some lessons if anybody is keen.

A reminder about your score cards again. You must check your handicap before each round as it changes sometimes without you knowing. On Saturday a player has lost 2 shots from last week and he gave himself an extra shot on 2 holes. The marker should also have picked up on this error. Also both players should add up the shots and points (if playing stableford) if different call back each hole and correct card that is wrong.

Our next championship event is the mixed Foursomes on the 25th July so get your partner organised

Saturday 13th June 2026 we played our Monthly Medal and 26 hardy golfers took to the course.

Best gross went to Lachlan Brown in the Men with 77 and Mary Ann Perry with 90 for the ladies.

Nett winner Torin Cook 58 and Caron Mackie 71 and the Nett runner up on a count back Mat Hopkins 65.

As our members age it is a daunting thought to have to tee up over the river. Our board has come up with this idea to help our ageing members to still play each week and continue to get some exercise if they choose.
