Sometimes you just need a good night out.

Next Friday, we’re bringing people together in the Dookie Hills for a night of great food, live music, conversation and connection.

We’ll be dining together under the marquee, surrounded by the spring canola paddocks, with guest speaker Ben Pettingill joining us for the evening.

This is your sign to organise the night out. 🌼

Ben Pettingill lost his eyesight overnight at 16. Since then, he’s built a life around having a crack, saying yes and making the most of what’s in front of him. He’s funny, down-to-earth and we can’t wait to hear from him.

Enjoy a delicious two-course dinner prepared by Mobile Wedding, Event & Corporate Catering featuring fresh, locally inspired flavours.

Served under the marquee in the beautiful Dookie Hills, it’s the perfect meal to share with good company.

Then Stop & Stare will take over with live music to finish the night.

Come with your partner, round up a table of friends, bring your work crew — or come on your own. You’ll be very welcome.

JUST ANNOUNCED | BEN PETTINGILL IS COMING TO THE HILLS 🌾

We’re incredibly excited to announce Ben Pettingill as our guest speaker for A Night in the Hills.

At just 16, Ben unexpectedly lost 98% of his eyesight overnight.

Since then? He’s had a fair crack at making the most out of life.

From competing in Spartan Obstacle Course Races and the Southern 80, to trekking the Kokoda Track twice and running 9km every day for an entire year to raise awareness and funds for mental health - Ben has continually challenged what others thought possible.

Today, he’s a speaker, podcaster and passionate mental health advocate, sharing a refreshingly down-to-earth perspective on resilience, adversity and making the most of life.

On Friday 18 September, he’s bringing that conversation to Dookie.

Come for a night out. Stay for the conversation.
