Tonight’s meat raffle is raising funds for a special memorial honour board dedicated to the wonderful regulars who shared our bar, our stories and our community, and who have since headed off for a beer in the sky.

Join us for a great night, support a meaningful cause, and help us ensure their names and memories remain part of the pub they helped make so special.

It takes a community to raise a country pub ❤️

To our incredible town — thank you. This award belongs to every single person who has walked through our doors, shared a meal, pulled up a stool, worked a shift, lent a hand, cheered us on, or simply believed in what a little country pub can mean to a community.

To our family, our awesome team, friends, locals and visitors — thank you for helping make The Victoria Hotel what it is today. We are better people, and Dimboola is a stronger community, because we have a place where people can come together, connect, celebrate, support one another and feel at home.

This isn’t our award. It belongs to all of Dimboola.

What a big few weeks filled with community spirit and plenty of love. ❤️

We’ll share the final fundraising totals soon for the CFA raffles run throughout April. Huge thanks to everyone who bought tickets and supported such an important cause.

Our Mates Day was an absolute ripper — plenty of laughs, banter, beers and good company all round.

The Dimboola Early Learning Centre is now fundraising throughout May for new outdoor equipment, and we’d love to see the community get behind them and help out where they can. Every little bit makes a difference for our local kids.

Mother’s Day was also such a beautiful day. Thank you to everyone who chose to spend part of it with us — it was lovely seeing families and friends gathered around the pub sharing good food, stories and time together.

Mates Day - May 8, 2026, all about bringing people together in the most natural place we know - the pub!

It’s a chance to catch up with old mates, make a few new ones, and be part of something bigger than just a drink. Join is with other pubs across the state putting on special events to create a welcoming, social atmosphere.

There’s also a strong purpose behind it—money raised on the day contributes to charities supporting people experiencing homelessness, turning a simple catch-up into something that gives back.

At its heart, Mates Day is about connection—combating social isolation, supporting locals, and reminding us all how important it is to look after each other.
