Last night we finished a huge Father’s Day service and minutes later turned the cafe into a Paper Flower Workshop!!

This was our 3rd Community Workshop with Stephanie Reynolds artist as part of her preparation for the paper on skin installation at the Arts Centre.

Steph has been incredibly busy bringing together hundreds of people through many, many community workshops around the NW Coast, creating thousands of vines, leaves and these stunning flowers, all coming together to create a walk through vertical garden for the entrance to the Paper On Skin Gala in October!

It is going to be amazing and I’ve been thrilled to be able to play a little part in it by hosting these workshops with the ladies from two of our local women’s groups, IGNITE Women Tasmania and .

Each night we enjoyed w**e, cakes, coffees, lots of conversations and plenty of laughs, all while creating something together in my beautiful cafe space.

Thank you Steph, and thank you to everyone who joined us. I’ve loved seeing women come together, create, connect and contribute to something that will become part of this beautiful community art project.

I can’t wait to see it all come together in October and know that amongst those thousands of flowers, vines and leaves are little pieces made right here around our cafe tables with these beautiful ladies

Just can’t get enough of this beautiful peaceful space. We’ve had magpies visiting lately, and 3 cute little ducks quite regularly with this rain. As well as the wild plovers and galahs!
