We hand select and extensive list of beers from Tasmania, Australia and the best from the rest of the world. We always have 14 beers and ciders on tap and over 200 unique beers in bottle and can, to drink in or enjoy at home

. We also have an interesting and unique wine and cocktail menu, and serve the very best artisan spirits, both local and from a far.

Six Feet Down Under has landed at Empress. 🍻

For the last six years I’ve been following and pestering the legends at Burial Brewing in North Carolina, trying to get my hands on their beers. If you’re into dark beers, hazies, and some of the most satisfying beer pouring videos you’ll ever see, go check out their socials – they’re doing some incredible things over there.

So while this might be the closest I’ll ever get to pouring a fresh Burial beer at Empress, it’s a pretty exciting one.

Mountain Culture x Burial Brewing have teamed up on Six Feet Down Under, an 11% Pecan & Coffee Imperial Stout. Big, rich, dessert-like and absolutely loaded with flavour. This beer was brewed as a tribute to the big American imperial stouts that Burial have become famous for.

We’ve only managed to get 15 cans, and I’ll be sacrificing one of them in the name of research. 🍺

I’m also trying to twist James the rep’s arm into finding us a keg for Dark Beer Fest. Fingers crossed.

If you’re a stout lover, don’t sleep on this one. I have a feeling these cans won’t hang around for long.
