João De Oliveira - Warehouse Manager

There are a lot more moving parts to a brewery than you’d think. Including the team that literally moves the parts… and the beer. Meet João, an integral part of our logistics team. As Warehouse Manager, he keeps things running smoothly, from receiving raw ingredients to making sure the freshest beer possible gets out the door and into your hands. Originally from Brazil, it’s probably no surprise that João loves his soccer. When he’s not playing soccer with mates, you’ll likely find him skateboarding with his daughters. A bloke who wears plenty of hats, João is one of the key people helping keep the brewery ticking day in, day out 🫶

There’s no better way to wrap up a big week than at the Sessions Surf Festival Burleigh Heads Beach Session.

We saw world-class surfing as Kelly Slater & Dylan Graves went head-to-head with Parko & Nathan Hedge in an Aus vs USA showdown. Let’s not go into who won that.

The sun came out, beers were in hand, and Hockey Dad took to the stage to cap off another incredible event celebrating surfing, film, music, art, and everything in between. Run it back!

Our HAZY IPA just went back-to-back-to-back-to-back Golds at the Australian International Beer Awards Melbourne Royal (AIBA) alongside EAZY HAZY and IPA. A haul of 16 medals across 12 beer styles which is a real testament to our brewing, cellar, packaging and quality team. They earned this one!
