On Monday the 16th of February we lost a battler. After a strong fight with cancer Lionel Richie also known to us all as Bobby Bottler succumbed to his illness.

On Wednesday the the 25th of February at 11am we will see him off at a graveside service at the Cowra Cemetary and all are welcome to attend before returning to the hotel for his wake.

As a result of his service the hotel will not be opening until 12pm as staff and customers will be paying our respects to Bobby.

🇦🇺 Australia Day 2026 🇦🇺

We hope everyone had a happy and safe Christmas and New Years! This Monday we will be hosting Australia Day drinks and music at the hotel

- DJ Kevvy will be playing music ongoing through out the day
- We have lucky door prizes, giveaways and lots of freebies to be won for our customers
- Solo talent Dan Jefferies will be playing through the afternoon showcasing his spectacular talent
- Typical Aussie food will be available such as steak sangas and sausage sangas please note we will not be offering a full menu
- Australia Day photo will be taken at 4pm and all are welcome to join in
- Mud Monkey’s saved the day to play in the evening with all the rock classics

We want everyone to have a safe and happy Australia Day so please drink responsibly and remember it’ll be a scorcher so keep up the water

We hope to see you all down at the pub on Monday for a great day!

A reminder to our patrons now that the silly season is over our workers are taking a day for themselves today this Sunday the 18th of January to celebrate our overdue Christmas Party! The Venue and Bottleshop will be closed today however we shall resume normal trade on Monday the 19th of January. We wish everyone a happy and safe Cowra Cup!
