A massive, heartfelt thank you to our amazing community for showing up, ordering pizzas and offering your support today ❤️

We had some fantastic conversations, met some lovely locals and there were smiles all round 😁 Thank you for your patience, your kind words and your generosity 🙌

We’re so grateful to have raised $180 towards the steel for the new proposed sign 😁

Today wouldn’t have been possible without the help of some absolute local legends 🏆

A huge thank you to Sam from Holy Smoker for donating the ingredients, his time and his amazing cooking skills 🏆

A big thank you to Brett from Mannum Slipway & Moorings for providing such a great venue 👏

Thank you also to the two wonderful gentlemen who organised a spare extension lead when we had an unexpected power outage 🙌

And a big thank you to Rudi van Houwelingen and Heather Howard for doing an IGA run and keeping the banter alive 😁

All in all, it was a fabulous day and we’re incredibly grateful for our beautiful community ❤️

This Sunday 13th September, pop by and grab lunch and support the Cowirra Caravan Park with their fundraising efforts to replace the sign near the ferry 😁 Unfortunately there will be NO EFTPOS available on the day, however PAYID will be available and CASH 🍕

Due to weather warning, unfortunately we had no choice but to change the date 🥹NEW DATE September 13 🎈If we can't obtain council approval for the new sign, ALL money raised will go to the Lions Club of Mannum Inc.

A little update on our Cowirra Caravan Park sign ❤️

It’s been a few days since our last post, so I wanted to let everyone know where things are up to.

We’ve spoken with Council’s planner about replacing the sign, and the response so far has been positive. Council asked to see the proposed replacement design and will circulate it internally for comment.

The intention is really simple — to replace the sign in the same location, at the same size, and with the same important wayfinding purpose it has served for many years, just with a fresh new look.

We’re taking things one step at a time and making sure the proper process is followed before anything is built.

We’re also very grateful to Brett from Mannum Slipway & Moorings, who has kindly offered us the space for our community pizza fundraiser.

The fundraiser is happening this Saturday from 11am–3pm 🍕😊

The weather is looking good — maybe a little breezy — so pop over, grab a pizza and say hello!

Thank you again to everyone who has shown support, offered help and followed along. It really has meant a lot to us.
